Calculator inputs
Calculation happens in the browser. The application does not send entered names, costs or quantities to an API. JSON imports are read on your device. CSV, JSON and printable reports are generated locally. This site does not accept STL/G-code or connect to a printer.
Optional local storage
Only the Save on this device button writes a comparison pair to localStorage under printquote.pair.v1. The site does not silently restore it; use Load saved pair. Delete local pair removes this key. Clearing browser site data also removes it. A shared device may expose the saved pair to other people using that browser profile. There is no cloud backup.
Share links
A share link contains the full project in its URL fragment, including names and prices. It is not encrypted and anyone who receives it can read the inputs. The fragment is normally not sent to a web server in the HTTP request, but can appear in browser history, clipboard data, screenshots or tools that handle the full URL. The app removes the imported fragment from the address bar after opening. Treat the whole link as sensitive.
Analytics and hosting
No site analytics or advertising scripts are enabled in this build. Hosting may retain access logs.
Your hosting provider may process IP addresses and access logs to deliver and protect the site. That is separate from local calculation. Third-party sites linked from guides have their own policies. Optional future advertising would require a revised notice and appropriate consent configuration before activation.
Retention and contact
Saved browser data remains until you delete it or clear site storage. Downloaded reports remain wherever you save them. Any message you choose to send to the operator is handled by their email provider and retention policy. No contact address is configured in this local preview. There is no functioning submission form. The owner must supply a real contact email before a production build.
Operator review required
This notice describes the shipped code, not every legal requirement in every country. The actual operator must review hosting, analytics, contact handling and jurisdiction-specific obligations before publishing. Updated September 12, 2026.
